The Sparke Evans Bridge, which connects the Arnos Vale and the Paintworks area of <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bristolpost.co.uk\/all-about\/brislington\" target=\"\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">Brislington<\/a> with Sparke Evans Park and the rest of St Philips, has <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bristolpost.co.uk\/news\/bristol-news\/bristol-footbridge-close-two-years-8867362\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"been closed since October 2023Link opens in a new tab.\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">been closed since October 2023<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">The \u00a32 million refurbishment project was <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bristolpost.co.uk\/news\/bristol-news\/bristol-footbridge-close-two-years-8867362\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"due to take up to two years,Link opens in a new tab.\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">due to take up to two years,<\/a> and was on schedule to be completed and reopened next month &#8211; in October 2025.
