The company is also building a new fiber network in Inverness Highlands North<\/a> that will connect more than 4,000 additional homes and businesses once complete.<\/p>\n Georgia<\/strong><\/p>\n Comcast has completed a broadband expansion in Gordon County<\/a>, bringing reliable, high-speed internet and other services to more than 5,000 homes and businesses for the first time. To celebrate, Comcast donated nearly 100 laptops to local students.<\/p>\n Kentucky<\/strong><\/p>\n Charter has expanded its network to reach about 2,800 homes and small businesses in Warren County,<\/a> where local farms are now using high-speed broadband to modernize daily operations after previously relying on satellite service.<\/p>\n North Carolina<\/strong><\/p>\n Charter has extended its network to nearly 3,400 homes and small businesses in McDowell County<\/a>. The buildout is part of the company\u2019s $7 billion rural construction initiative, bringing high-speed broadband to previously unserved and underserved areas.
