{"id":412057,"date":"2025-09-10T02:57:18","date_gmt":"2025-09-10T02:57:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/412057\/"},"modified":"2025-09-10T02:57:18","modified_gmt":"2025-09-10T02:57:18","slug":"west-midlands-police-urge-public-to-keep-reporting-off-road-bikes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/412057\/","title":{"rendered":"West Midlands Police urge public to keep reporting off-road bikes"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\"><b class=\"ssrcss-1xjjfut-BoldText e5tfeyi3\">A police officer has encouraged members of the public to continue reporting illegal use of off-road bikes.<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">Sgt David Eeles from West Midlands Police said anti-social behaviour and the potential cause of serious injuries were some of the reasons the force was cracking down on their use.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">&#8220;It&#8217;s not an unknown issue within the West Midlands, but we&#8217;re taking more action in conjunction with the council to stop, seize them and to prosecute these off-road bikes,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">Once the vehicles have been seized they are crushed at a scrapyard, something Sgt Eeles, who is based in Wednesbury, said would send a strong message to those who used them.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"A police officer has encouraged members of the public to continue reporting illegal use of off-road bikes.
