Charles had taken up again with his mistress, <a class=\"link \" href=\"https:\/\/www.instyle.com\/queen-camilla-confusing-response-princess-diana-confrontation-8737754\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:Camilla Parker Bowles;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\">Camilla Parker Bowles<\/a>, and Burrell wrote that Diana \u201calways loved Charles, but she despised Camilla Parker Bowles, the \u2018other woman.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">According to Burrell, Diana said of Charles that \u201cHe never wanted a lover.
