\n PADDINGTON The Musical is set to\u00a0open at The Savoy Theatre in November featuring music and lyrics by McFly star Tom Fletcher.\n<\/p>\n
\n The book by Jessica Swale is adapted from Michael Bond’s\u00a0A Bear Called Paddington\u00a0and the hugely successful trio of STUDIOCANAL movies starring Ben Whishaw as Paddington.\n<\/p>\n
\n Packed with show-stopping songs, dazzling choreography, and of course, marmalade sandwiches,\u00a0the musical will follow\u00a0the arrival of a small, bewildered bear from Peru at a\u00a0London railway station and his adoption by the Brown family.\n<\/p>\n
\n But amidst the wonderful world of Windsor Gardens,\u00a0a\u00a0vengeful villain sets her sights on Paddington, and the Browns embark on a thrilling rescue mission, realising they need this bear as much as he needs them.\n<\/p>\n
\n Veteran stage and screen actor Bonnie Langford is signed on to\u00a0play the Brown’s housekeeper Mrs Bird, while\u00a0Delilah Bennett-Cardy, who has just shot The Magic Faraway Tree with Andrew Garfield and Claire Foy will play Judy Brown.\n<\/p>\n
\n West End star\u00a0Victoria Hamilton-Barritt is also among the cast as\u00a0evil taxidermist\u00a0Millicent Clyde.\n<\/p>\n
\n But the identity of the Bear designer, creative team and potential actor\u00a0will not be revealed until the first preview on November 1.\n<\/p>\n
