Gordon Setter<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">Described as \u201calert, interested and confident\u201d, the Gordon Setter is fearless, willing and intelligent, according to CPC Cares.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">These large pups are great pets but they shouldn&#8217;t be kept off a lead when outside as they are known to run off while following a scent.<\/p>\n<p>8. Rough Collie<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">Lassie dogs need to be socialised well to avoid becoming shy, and while they&#8217;re now considered a perfect family dog, they were originally bred for herding sheep.<\/p>\n<p>9.
