It goes from bad to worse for Leeds United, whose deadline day shocker has set them up for a really difficult run towards January.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Leeds United<\/a> seem as though they\u2019re one really good striker away from being able to comfortably beat the drop in the Premier League this season.<\/p>\n

Daniel Farke<\/a> had one last chance to sign someone on deadline day, with the German saying beforehand that Leeds United wanted to sign new attackers<\/a>.<\/p>\n

But despite links to a number of such players, none signed, and now Farke has to try and get the likes of Dominic Calvert-Lewin fit and firing in a bid to score some goals.<\/p>\n

Fans have inevitably questioned whether or not some free agents could be signed, and one potential option is Josh Brownhill<\/a> who was released by Burnley at the end of last season, and who Leeds United have long had an interest in.<\/p>\n

Posting recently, journalist Graham Smyth suggested Brownhill to Leeds United was unlikely<\/a>, but certainly not impossible. The 29-year-old would definitely add some attacking quality to the side and he\u2019d arrive on the back of a brilliant season in the Championship which saw him score 18 goals for Burnley.<\/p>\n

But Fabrizio Romano has now revealed that Brownhill has completed a medical for Saudi Arabian side Al Shabab. There have been rumours of late that Brownhill was looking at a potential move to Saudi and Romano now says that Al Shabab will announce Brownhill in the next 24 hours.<\/p>\n

Will Leeds United consider free agent signings after deadline day?<\/p>\n

Leeds look as though they\u2019re going to try and make do with their current options. Speaking recently, the club\u2019s managing director Robbie Evans played down the chances of Leeds United signing any free agents<\/a>.<\/p>\n

He said: \u201cI don\u2019t think right now there\u2019s any need so great that it\u2019s worth going to the free agent market to fill it, in part because I doubt the right player is there.\u201d<\/p>\n

But that was before the injury to goalkeeper Lucas Perri: it\u2019s been revealed ahead of the game against Fulham this weekend that Perri has picked up an injury in training<\/a> and so Farke may be forced to snap up a free agent goalkeeper, if the injury is serious.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s in attack where the real issue remains though. There\u2019s now huge pressure on Calvert-Lewin to find form, likewise Joel Piroe and Lukas Nmecha to chip in with the goals as well.<\/p>\n

Leeds\u2019 game against Fulham kicks off at 3pm at Craven Cottage on Saturday afternoon.<\/p>\n
