Bucklebury Cricket Club made it six wins out of six when they took on Chris Tarrant\u2019s Lord’s Taverners XI in a charity clash.<\/p>\n
Cricket fans gathered at Douai Pavillion in Woolhampton for the annual match on Sunday, which sees familiar faces join forces to raise money for disadvantaged and disabled children.<\/p>\n

The Taverners\u2019 team, of which Chris Tarrant is the organisation\u2019s captain, is comprised of sports, TV and radio stars including his presenter son Toby who broadcasts on Radio X.<\/p>\n
With former England captain David Gower among the umpires, Chris Tarrant\u2019s celebrity team – captained on the day by Toby – recorded 152-6, with grandson 10-year-old Harris bowling the first over and even taking a wicket.<\/p>\n

But despite the strong start and appearances from the likes of former England cricketer Monty Panesar and former England international rugby union player Chris Sheasby, Bucklebury would run out eventual winners for the sixth year in a row.<\/p>\n
Bucklebury cricketer Alex Bingley – who was himself \u2018annoyingly\u2019 bowled out by Panesar – said it had been a fantastic day made even better by another victory for his West Berkshire team.<\/p>\n
He said: \u201cMr Tarrant\u2019s 11 are yet to win.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s becoming more of a standing joke as the time goes on.<\/p>\n
\u201cChris thinks he\u2019s 4-2 up in the series but they haven\u2019t won yet!\u201d<\/p>\n
