However, he marked a return to the highest level this summer after being called into the British and Irish Lions squad.<\/p>\n<p>Upon landing on Australian soil, Farrell went onto captain the touring side against the First Nations &amp; Pasifika XV and later earned a spot on the bench for both Test two and three.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018We\u2019ll see where we\u2019re at\u2019<\/p>\n<p>That, plus a return to the PREM with Saracens, has since sparked speculation he is set to return to Borthwick\u2019s team ahead of the Autumn Nations Series later this year, but the former skipper is focusing on playing his best rugby for the North London club before thinking about a potential England return.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.planetrugby.com\/news\/england-star-close-to-injury-return-as-prem-boss-reveals-dispensation-for-test-flyer\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">England star \u2018close\u2019 to injury return as Prem boss reveals \u2018dispensation\u2019 for Test flyer<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m going to get myself back playing well for Saracens and enjoying myself,\u201d Farrell told Sky Sports. \u201cWe\u2019ll see where we\u2019re at.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>If he does indeed return to the Test squad, Farrell would add plenty of experience to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.planetrugby.com\/team\/england\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">England<\/a> side.<\/p>\n<p>To date, the versatile back has 112 England caps to his name to date alongside four Lions tours.
