{"id":414169,"date":"2025-09-10T21:48:23","date_gmt":"2025-09-10T21:48:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/414169\/"},"modified":"2025-09-10T21:48:23","modified_gmt":"2025-09-10T21:48:23","slug":"the-five-atp-and-wta-players-who-hit-the-most-winners-across-the-2025-grand-slams","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/414169\/","title":{"rendered":"The five ATP and WTA players who hit the most winners across the 2025 Grand Slams"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Another Grand Slam season has concluded, with the ATP and WTA tours producing very different outcomes.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For the second successive season, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetennisgazette.com\/tag\/carlos-alcaraz\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Carlos Alcaraz<\/a> and Jannik Sinner shared the Grand Slam spoils, winning two titles each.<\/p>\n<p>But unlike the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetennisgazette.com\/tag\/atp\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ATP Tour<\/a>, four different <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetennisgazette.com\/tag\/wta\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">WTA<\/a> winners emerged from the Australian Open, French Open, Wimbledon and US Open.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetennisgazette.com\/features\/how-much-prize-money-carlos-alcaraz-has-now-earned-in-his-career-compared-to-jannik-sinner-after-their-us-open-final\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Alcaraz now has over $50million in prize money<\/a> for his hugely successful career, having added $5million in New York.<\/p>\n<p>It continued his phenomenal season so far, in which he also won the French Open and reached the Wimbledon final.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" loading=\"lazy\"  src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/GettyImages-2234209791-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner pose with their trophies after the 2025 US Open final\" class=\"wp-image-128452\" \/>Photo by Clive Brunskill\/Getty ImagesThe five ATP players who hit the most winners in 2025 Grand Slams<\/p>\n<p>Alcaraz also lost at that stage in Barcelona, but has managed to win seven ATP titles throughout the campaign.<\/p>\n<p>And it is the Spaniard who tops the list for the most winners hit across the four Grand Slams in 2025, as per OptaAce.<\/p>\n<p><strong>READ MORE:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetennisgazette.com\/news\/the-six-players-who-could-challenge-jannik-sinner-and-carlos-alcaraz-at-the-australian-open-have-already-been-named\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The six players who could challenge Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz at the Australian Open have already been named<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Alcaraz was the only player to break the 1,000 mark, hitting 1,035 winners in Melbourne, Paris, London and New York.<\/p>\n<p>Sinner, who reached all four Grand Slam finals in 2025 \u2013 winning two and losing two \u2013 claimed second spot with 877.<\/p>\n<p>Novak Djokovic (859) is third on the list, with American duo Ben Shelton (695) and Taylor Fritz (618) completing the top five.<\/p>\n<p>The top five WTA players with the most Grand Slam winners in 2025<\/p>\n<p>Like Alcaraz, WTA star <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetennisgazette.com\/tag\/aryna-sabalenka\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Aryna Sabalenka<\/a> reached three Grand Slam finals this season, although she only managed to win one.<\/p>\n<p>The world number one suffered near misses at the Australian Open and French Open, but recovered to triumph in New York.<\/p>\n<p>And unsurprisingly she tops the pile for WTA winners across the four Grand Slams with 719, as per OptaAce.<\/p>\n<p>Wimbledon champion Iga Swiatek (554) is second in the list, with Amanda Anisimova (548) in third, having finished runner-up at the All England Club and at the US Open.<\/p>\n<p>Completing the top five are Australian Open champion Madison Keys (469) and teenage sensation Mirra Andreeva (386).<\/p>\n<p>Of course, the WTA and ATP seasons do not end with the Grand Slams, with plenty of tennis still left on the calendar.<\/p>\n<p>And it will culminate with the WTA Finals Riyadh and ATP Finals in Turin, with both tournaments scheduled for November.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Another Grand Slam season has concluded, with the ATP and WTA tours producing very different outcomes.
