The Haus of Fun and FunnyBoyz family are proudly raising a glass to celebrate a hugely successful first year. <\/p>\n
In just twelve months since getting the keys to 25, 27 & 29 Stanley Street \u2013 formerly Icon, The Social and The Navy \u2013 they have created something truly unique in the heart of Liverpool\u2019s Pride Quarter.<\/p>\n
Just some of the incredible year one achievements included:<\/strong><\/p>\n September 2024:<\/strong>\u00a0Taking over The Navy Bar and officially got the keys to their new home.<\/p>\n October 2024:<\/strong>\u00a0Opened DysCo and became Runners Up\u00a0at the UK National Diversity Awards, the Great British Entrepreneur Awards and the Flowers Awards \u2013 beating over 80,000 nominees.<\/p>\n November 2024:<\/strong>\u00a0Opened Benidorm Bar, welcomed BabyStorm\u2019s Lesbian Events for the first time, partnered with The Award-Winning LGBT Business Group\u00a0The IN-Club, and were honoured by a visit from the Lord Mayor of Liverpool.<\/p>\n December 2024:<\/strong>\u00a0Fed Liverpool\u2019s homeless at Christmas, appeared on BBC\u2019s\u00a0Smoggie Queens, saw Timeout Magazine crown The Navy Bar 2.1 as \u201cBest Club in Liverpool 2024,\u201d and hosted Drag Race Season 6 winners Lil, Kyran and Rilease at DysCo.<\/p>\n January 2025:<\/strong>\u00a0Welcomed the Queen of Scotty Road as a regular fixture and partnered with the legendary SOUL TRAIN to bring the city\u2019s biggest soul event to Liverpool\u2019s Pride Quarter for the first time.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n February 2025:<\/strong>\u00a0The Chatter Boys ranked Benidorm Bar as Liverpool\u2019s Best Gay Bar and The Navy Bar received a coveted 5am licence. <\/p>\n Spring 2025:\u00a0<\/strong>Launched Liverpool\u2019s cheapest Happy Hour (\u00a31 drinks), drew huge queues for their incredible popular Kylie Minogue afterparty at DysCo, and gave over 60 local and national DJs a platform through \u2018So You Think You Can DJ?\u2019<\/p>\n June 2025:<\/strong>\u00a0Won the Liverpool Lifestyle Award and welcomed the DOLLY GOLD mascot to the team.<\/p>\n July 2025:<\/strong>\u00a0Erected stunning new Haus of Fun signage, hosted Stanley Street Pride \u2013 headlined by SumTing Wong, Sunshine After the Rain\u2019s \u2018Berry\u2019, and many more \u2013 and were ranked in the world\u2019s top 1% of businesses by TripAdvisor for the third year running.<\/p>\n August 2025:<\/strong>\u00a0Won the Lux Life Award for \u201cMost Welcoming Community Venue.\u201d<\/p>\n Linda Gold, Director and resident drag queen said:<\/p>\n \u201cThis year has been a rollercoaster for hospitality, but we refused to let that stop us. Our mission has always been to celebrate community, create safe spaces, and keep Liverpool laughing and dancing \u2013 and we\u2019re just getting started.
