Northern Ireland’s weather has taken a turn for the worst this week, with temperatures beginning to drop and more rain on the forecast.<\/p>\n
The Met Office has said<\/a> that the UK will continue to experience unsettled conditions over the coming days, with a mix of heavy rain, thunderstorms, and strong winds affecting many areas.<\/p>\n Paul Gundersen, Chief Meteorologist at the Met Office, said they have been monitoring a deepening area of low-pressure over the North Atlantic that “might bring impactful weather<\/a> to the UK, most likely on Sunday and Monday. At present, a named storm is unlikely”.<\/p>\n Looking at Northern Ireland’s forecast for the days ahead, Friday will be “mainly dry start with bright or sunny spells, but a few showers in northwest at first and scattered sharp showers will break out elsewhere through the morning”.<\/p>\n “Moderate southwest winds, Maximum temperature 16C,” the Met Office added.<\/p>\n “The [outlook for Saturday to Monday] is bright spells and heavy showers Saturday. Drier overnight before heavy rain spreads from southwest Sunday morning. A return to bright spells and heavy showers on Monday with strong northwest winds.”<\/p>\n While the weather is set to be unsettled, parts of the UK have been issued with a yellow weather warning.
