The rest of the south-east moves away from lager to real ale, with Fuller\u2019s London Pride the most likely choice.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph b-article-body-skinny\">North of the border, Tennent\u2019s is the undisputed king of Scotland. Elsewhere, John Smith&#8217;s remains a hearty choice for those in Yorkshire, while Carling continues to have a good brand strength in its West Midlands base.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph b-article-body-skinny\">Finally, those in the east of England are more likely than the average to plump for a Greene King, while Australian lager brand Foster&#8217;s refreshes punters in the north-east (although YouGov\u2019s data does not track Newcastle Brown Ale).\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><b>Local loyalty <\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph b-article-body-skinny\">Speaking about the data, Amelia Brophy, head of data products UK at YouGov, said: \u201cNowadays, Britain\u2019s drinkers have more choice than ever when they go to their local.
