James Middleton<\/strong> and Aliz\u00e9e Thevenet<\/strong> are celebrating four years of marriage! The Princess of Wales<\/strong>‘ brother commemorated his fourth wedding anniversary on Thursday, Sept. 11. James took to his personal Instagram account to share photos from his 2011 nuptials, along with a sweet message.<\/p>\n

“Happy Anniversary my darling Aliz\u00e9e,” James captioned the post, adding in French: “I love you more and more every day \u2764\ufe0f\u2764\ufe0f.”<\/p>\n

One image showed James and his bride being showered with what appears to be rice by their wedding guests. James also included a romantic snapshot of himself and Aliz\u00e9e holding hands on a beach.<\/p>\n

The Princess of Wales’ brother and sister-in-law, who got engaged in 2019, tied the knot in 2021 in the village of Bormes-les-Mimosas, France surrounded by family and friends<\/a>. \u00a0<\/p>\n

For her big day, Aliz\u00e9e wore her mother-in-law Carole Middleton<\/a>‘s wedding dress. “My something borrowed was in fact my dress from my mother-in-law Carole who last wore it 41 years ago on her wedding day in June, 1980,” the bride told HOLA!’s sister brand HELLO!<\/a>. “While talking about dresses with Carole and sharing ideas during lockdown for inspiration, I tried on her wedding dress and fell in love with it.”<\/p>\n

Aliz\u00e9e added, “It fitted me perfectly and was exactly what I wanted. It always troubled me that wedding dresses are only worn once so it was amazing to give such a beautiful dress a second lease of life.”<\/p>\n

Two years after their wedding, James and his wife welcomed their first child, son Inigo, in September of 2023<\/a>. In a post introducing his baby boy on Instagram<\/a>, James wrote: “No matter how prepared I thought I was\u2026I was not prepared for the overwhelming emotion of meeting Inigo for the first time and the love for my darling Aliz\u00e9e as we became three.”<\/p>\n

Last year, the James & Ella founder revealed to HOLA! USA<\/strong>‘s sister brand HELLO!<\/a> that he and Aliz\u00e9e would love to have more children “if we\u2019re fortunate enough to be able to.” “Yes \u2013 the pitter-patter of two or four feet,” the Princess of Wales’ brother said, smiling. “But who knows which will come first?”<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"James Middleton and Aliz\u00e9e Thevenet are celebrating four years of marriage!
