Indeed for many, anyone with more Premier League pedigree than Farke might be preferable, with Leeds United fans calling for Nuno Espirito Santo after his recent Nottingham Forest exit.

But Mourinho to Elland Road is unlikely because of comments made by Mourinho in October 2024 where he claimed he would never go to a team battling relegation in the Premier League, as it’s a task too difficult.

If Leeds sack Farke this season then it would no doubt be because they’re in a dog fight, so for that reason, Mourinho arriving in West Yorkshire still looks as unlikely as it has been all along.

Farke though certainly has a lot of doubters and if results turn sour, then the fans could quickly turn likewise.

Leeds United return to action against Fulham this weekend.

Leeds United manager Daniel Farke is often a man in the spotlight, with speculation that he could be…

[8814
748,1385,393,4884,1056,1860,16,15
0":"post-417113","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-leeds","8":"tag-britain","9":"tag-daniel-farke","10":"tag-england","11":"tag-great-britain","12":"tag-jose-mourinho","13":"tag-leeds","14":"tag-uk","15":"tag-united-kingdom
["GET
