Manchester United youngster Harry Amass is expecting to make his loan debut this coming weekend.<\/strong><\/p>\n

After being moved down the pecking order following the signing of Diego Leon<\/a>, youngster Harry Amass<\/a> has left Manchester United on loan in pursuit of first team football.<\/p>\n

Amass has signed on loan<\/a> with Sheffield Wednesday for the season, and it is his first move away from United since he signed from Watford in 2023.<\/p>\n

The defender could be in line to make his Championship debut this weekend when Sheffield Wednesday face Bristol City, where United loanee Radek Vitek has been starring<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Sheffield Wednesday manager Henrik Pedersen has provided an update on Harry Amass\u2019 loan move so far.<\/p>\n

He says that he has been encouraged by what he has seen from Harry Amass<\/a> in training, and that he has settled in off the pitch too.<\/p>\n

Pedersen told BBC Radio Sheffield<\/a>: \u201cHe feels really well, when I speak with him and see him on the pitch, I see a concentrated and happy boy, who likes his new life in Sheffield and he\u2019s doing really well.\u201d <\/p>\n

The Owls manager explained that Amass has met \u2018expectations\u2019 so far, and he is glad to have the 18-year-old on board.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou always have expectations before when you\u2019re choosing players, but it feels like he feels really well and I\u2019m really happy that he\u2019s in.\u201d<\/p>\n

Thankful to Manchester United<\/p>\n

Sheffield Wednesday began the summer under transfer embargo, a situation that necessitated their need to add to their squad late in the window \u2013 opening up an opportunity for Harry Amass.<\/p>\n

Amass made his first team debut<\/a> for Manchester United last season, even playing in the Europa League<\/a> in knockout games.<\/p>\n

Pedersen says he is thankful for Manchester United for facilitating the move, with the Red Devils paying Amass\u2019 wages.<\/p>\n

He said: \u201cI think we have to be proud, and we have to be very thankful, because what they have done for us is fantastic and big respect for what they have done.<\/p>\n
