Recent reports have now shed some light on how Markle had a different idea about royal life, thinking she would be living like a \u201cDisney princess.\u201d However, things soon took a turn when she stepped into the senior role.<\/p>\n

According to experts, Meghan Markle had a different idea about royal life before marrying Prince Harry, but that changed quickly. Helena Chard, a British broadcaster and photographer, recently told Fox News<\/a> what the former actor thought being a \u201cprincess\u201d would be like. The expert claimed that Markle \u201cdid feel\u201d that it would be \u201csomething sparkly and fun.\u201d Chard continued that the Duchess of Sussex is \u201cvery much somebody who likes to center stage.\u201d<\/p>\n

The broadcaster added that Markle \u201cjust wants to do things that she wants to do.\u201d However, Chard stated that \u201clife as a working royal isn\u2019t all sparkly.\u201d\u00a0Grant Harrold, who recently released his book \u201cThe Royal Butler,\u201d\u00a0also recalled an incident while recently talking to Page Six<\/a>. The former royal butler shared that there was one time when Markle wanted to host some friends for lunch on a day when she was scheduled to carry out a royal engagement.<\/p>\n

Harrold stated, \u201cThat\u2019s not how it works.\u201d He explained that the royal schedule is set six months in advance and one \u201ccan\u2019t change it.\u201d The author also said the duchess thought she could \u201cdo her thing,\u201d but they \u201ccan\u2019t.\u201d Harrold then suggested the \u201cproblem\u201d was that Markle \u201cwent into the organization\u201d assuming it would be similar to \u201cDisney princesses.\u201d However, the biographer added that one is \u201cgiven rules and protocols to follow\u201d when they join the royal family.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Chard told Fox News that Harry must have discussed the \u201ctrials and tribulations of being a princess\u201d with Markle before they got married. The photographer added that the former \u201cSuits\u201d star was still looking for a \u201cfantasy.\u201d\u00a0However, things changed when she officially became the duchess.<\/p>\n
