{"id":419336,"date":"2025-09-12T20:36:19","date_gmt":"2025-09-12T20:36:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/419336\/"},"modified":"2025-09-12T20:36:19","modified_gmt":"2025-09-12T20:36:19","slug":"france-germany-uk-condemn-israels-sept-9-strikes-in-doha","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/419336\/","title":{"rendered":"France, Germany, UK condemn Israel\u2019s Sept. 9 strikes in Doha"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>ISTANBUL<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>France, Germany, and the UK on Friday condemned Israeli airstrikes in Doha earlier this week, calling them a violation of Qatar\u2019s sovereignty and a threat to regional stability.<\/p>\n<p>In a joint statement, the foreign ministers of the three countries said the Sept. 9 strikes risk undermining ongoing mediation efforts aimed at securing the release of Israeli hostages and reaching a ceasefire in Gaza.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe, the Foreign Ministers of France, Germany, and the United Kingdom, condemn Israel\u2019s strikes in Doha on 9 September, which violate Qatar\u2019s sovereignty and risk further escalation in the region,\u201d the statement read.<\/p>\n<p>The ministers underlined that such actions pose a \u201cserious risk\u201d to achieving a negotiated deal that could end the conflict in Gaza, urging all sides to \u201crenew and redouble their efforts\u201d toward an immediate ceasefire.<\/p>\n<p>They expressed solidarity with Qatar and highlighted the Gulf nation\u2019s \u201cvital role\u201d in mediation efforts alongside Egypt and the US.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe call for the parties to exercise restraint and seize the opportunity for peace,\u201d the statement added.<\/p>\n<p>The three countries also called for a halt to Israeli operations in Gaza City, saying the military campaign is causing mass civilian displacement, casualties, and destruction of essential infrastructure.<\/p>\n<p>They urged that the UN and humanitarian organizations should be allowed to work &#8220;safely and at scale&#8221; throughout the enclave.<\/p>\n<p>While reiterating their condemnation of Hamas, the ministers demanded that the group immediately and unconditionally release all hostages, be disarmed, and be permanently excluded from governing the Gaza Strip.<\/p>\n<p>They stressed that the focus must remain on achieving a permanent ceasefire, ensuring the release of hostages, and delivering large-scale aid to Gaza to prevent famine.<\/p>\n<p>                            &#13;<br \/>\n                                <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aa.com.tr\/en\/p\/subscription\/1001\" target=\"_blank\" style=\"font-size:12px;
