Ben contracts rabies during a pool party and turns aggressive. Lucy and friends barricade in pool, devising ways to survive the vicious chimp.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Primate releases in theaters<strong>\u00a0January 9, 2026,<\/strong> and we\u2019ve been hearing that it\u2019s a gory crowd-pleaser that should kick off next year on a high note for the horror genre. The horror movie stars <strong>Johnny Sequoyah<\/strong>\u00a0and Oscar\u00ae-winning\u00a0<strong>Troy Kotsur<\/strong>\u00a0(CODA).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Walter Hamada<\/strong>\u00a0is producing\u00a0Primate, part of a new horror pact with Paramount.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/fantasticfest.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Fantastic Fest<\/a><\/strong> is back this year for its milestone 20th anniversary from September 18-25.
