This is our creative mission,\u201d reads a statement provided by Paramount chief communications officer Melissa Zukerman. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\t\u201cWe do not agree with recent efforts to boycott Israeli filmmakers. Silencing individual creative artists based on their nationality does not promote better understanding or advance the cause of peace,\u201d the statement continued. \u201cThe global entertainment industry should be encouraging artists to tell their stories and share their ideas with audiences throughout the world.
