A man who killed his own mother in her Birmingham home has been jailed for life.<\/p>\n
Surjit Singh rang a relative and told her that he\u2019d attacked Mohinder Kaur, aged 76, in the family house on Clarence Road, Handsworth.<\/p>\n
The shocked relative then rang 999 after speaking to Singh, at around 1pm on 29 September last year.<\/p>\n
