Emmerdale viewers are convinced they know who will kill John Sugden after months of causing terror in the village<\/p>\n

Emmerdale<\/a> viewers believe they’ve figured out who is responsible for the demise of John Sugden, and it’s not the person you’d expect.<\/p>\n

John (played by Oliver Farnworth) has been at the centre of much drama <\/a>since his first appearance. Earlier this year, it was unveiled that he was behind the murder of Nate Robinson (portrayed by Jurrell Carter) in September 2024.<\/p>\n

However, things began to fall apart for John recently when Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) discovered the truth. In a desperate move, John assaulted Mack and kept him prisoner in an underground bunker.<\/p>\n

Subsequently, John’s spouse Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) also uncovered the truth, leading to a dramatic confrontation on a cliff<\/a> where Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley) arrived to rescue Aaron.<\/p>\n

In a twist of events, John made a fake emergency call claiming that Robert was threatening him. Tragically, John ended up leaping off the cliff, dragging Aaron along with him, reports the Daily Star<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Emergency services were quick to arrive and rushed both men to hospital. There, Aaron was put into an induced coma due to a brain haemorrhage, while John managed to recover but had to stay in hospital.<\/p>\n

Robert was subsequently arrested for attempted murder, despite vehemently proclaiming his innocence to everyone in the village.<\/p>\n

In Friday’s episode (12th September), following the aftermath, Robert’s sister Victoria (Isabel Hodgins) was left heartbroken when she was informed by Moira (Natalie J Robb) and Cain (Jeff Hordley) that they were excluding her from their plans and would be returning her investment.<\/p>\n

Victoria was left absolutely livid by the decision as she had backed John’s corner and refused to have anything to do with Robert, who attempted to ring her from behind bars. Now, with John’s potential downfall on the horizon, viewers reckon he’ll end up being murdered – and they ‘know’ who will do the deed.<\/p>\n

On an Emmerdale Facebook fan page, one person wrote: “They can’t keep dragging this on but if John does get killed off who do we think will kill him?”.<\/p>\n

Suggesting Victoria, someone else said: “Vic maybe?”. Another added: “I can see her flipping out when the truth comes out tbh.” A third then chimed in: “Same here.”<\/p>\n
