\n The items were confiscated from three shops in Camden High Street as part of Operation Glimmerstone, a borough-wide campaign targeting organised crime and counterfeit trading.\n<\/p>\n
\n The operation was led by Camden trading standards in partnership with the Metropolitan Police, WRi Group, Back Four Brand Protection, REACT UK and Surelock Investigators.\n<\/p>\n

\n Two coordinated raids took place on August 27 and September 3, uncovering hidden storage areas packed with counterfeit luxury clothing, footwear, watches, jewellery, handbags and accessories.\n<\/p>\n
\n Councillor Camron Aref-Adib, cabinet member for finance and cost of living at Camden Council, said: “Counterfeit trading is not a victimless crime \u2013 it undermines the hardworking, legitimate businesses that make Camden\u2019s high streets vibrant and unique, and it puts residents at risk with unsafe, poor-quality goods.\n<\/p>\n
\n “We\u2019re proud to stand with our partners in taking decisive action to protect our borough and ensure Camden remains a safe and fair place to shop, live and work.”\n<\/p>\n

\n Since September 2023, more than \u00a370 million worth of counterfeit goods have been removed from retail and wholesale supply.\n<\/p>\n
\n Camden trading standards said it remains committed to working with enforcement partners to identify and disrupt counterfeit operations across the borough.\n<\/p>\n
