Leeds forward Patrick Bamford played conductor to Leeds fans in a chant calling Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder a ‘w*****’.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Bamford and his teammates continued their celebrations after Leeds secured their promotion back to the Premier League<\/a> on Monday. <\/p>\n

Bamford and Leeds fans couldn’t resist aiming an abusive dig at Wilder<\/p>\n

A 6-0 thumping of Stoke City, plus Sheffield United<\/a>‘s defeat at Burnley means that both Leeds and Burnley claim the automatic promotion spots in the Championship.<\/p>\n

Sheffield United can still get the final promotion place, but will have to do so via the play-offs instead.<\/p>\n

It’s party time at Elland Road though with Leeds players enjoying their promotion with fans outside the club’s iconic home ground. <\/p>\n

However, some footage of Tuesday’s celebrations saw Bamford rub it in Blades boss Wilder<\/a>‘s face.<\/p>\n

The video shows Bamford chant, ‘Du, du du…’ before the Leeds<\/a> fans nearby finished the lyrics by shouting: “Wilder is a w*****.”<\/p>\n

This is a chant that may be six years in the making<\/a> when Wilder was the one lauding it over Leeds and Bamford.<\/p>\n

Wilder guided Sheffield United to automatic promotion to the Premier League during the 2018\/19 season with Yorkshire rivals Leeds being forced to settle for play-offs. <\/p>\n

He was in no mood to congratulate Leeds for their efforts, as he said: “We’ve had one defeat in 13 and I’ve got muppets from Leeds talking about the pressure being on us.<\/p>\n

“[Patrick] Bamford and [Adam] Forshaw and a couple of others saying ‘it’s over to you’ and this, that and the other.<\/p>\n

“They got beat seven times since Christmas. We’ve been beaten once.<\/p>\n

“We’ve set it up from Christmas to be in the race and we’ve steamrolled it.<\/p>\n

“After the international break, two points a game. That’s promotion form right the way through in the pressure part of the season.<\/p>\n

“Listen, don’t mention anything about bottle and b******s or about us dipping out.”<\/p>\n

Leeds failed to join Sheffield United in the Premier League as they lost in the semi-finals of the play-offs. <\/p>\n

The Blades have lost four of their last five outings in the Championship, poor form which has seen them fall away from automatic promotion contention.<\/p>\n

And Whites fans, as well as Bamford, will be desperate for the shoe to be on the other foot this time around. <\/p>\n
