Manchester United and Ruben Amorim<\/a> have named their squad for the 2025\/2026 Premier League<\/a> season, with some notable changes from last year.<\/p>\n

A busy summer transfer window<\/a> means that new signings Senne Lammens<\/a>, Bryan Mbeumo<\/a>, Matheus Cunha<\/a> and Benjamin Sesko<\/a> have all been added to a 21-man list – replacing players who have made a summer exit. Teams are allowed to name up to 25 players on their main list.<\/p>\n

However, they are boosted by scope to add an unlimited number of players to their Under-21 list. Owing to their age, players including Leny Yoro<\/a>, Kobbie Mainoo<\/a> and Patrick Dorgu<\/a> have been included in that section.<\/p>\n

The rules of the U21s list means that Amorim has been forced to make a change this season compared to the last campaign, too. After being named on the U21s list last season, defender Rhys Bennett has now been moved on to the main list, where he will take up one of the 25 spots allowed.<\/p>\n

The 21-year-old will turn 22 next month, making him too old to be included on the unlimited U21s list.<\/p>\n

Bennett is yet to make his United first-team debut. Last season, he spent most of the campaign on loan with EFL League Two side Fleetwood Town, where he made 38 appearances in all competitions.<\/p>\n

The defender was one of the players earmarked to, possibly, go out on loan again this summer, but a move never materialised as the deadline moved closer<\/a>. He will now have six months to try and push himself into the first-team picture at Old Trafford<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Here’s a look at the full 21-man squad<\/a> for the first half of the Premier League season;<\/p>\n

Goalkeepers: <\/strong>Bayindir, Heaton*, Lammens, Mee*.<\/p>\n

Defenders:<\/strong> Bennett*, Dalot, De Ligt, Maguire*, Malacia, Martinez, Mazraoui, Shaw*.<\/p>\n

Midfielders: <\/strong>Casemiro, Fernandes, Mount*, Ugarte.<\/p>\n

Forwards: <\/strong>Amad*, Cunha, Mbeumo, Sesko, Zirkzee.<\/p>\n

*Denotes a homegrown player<\/p>\n
