Elon Musk<\/a> called for a change of government<\/a> in the UK and railed against the \u201cwoke mind virus\u201d as he spoke at Tommy Robinson\u2019s rally <\/a>in London.<\/p>\n

The X owner claimed a \u201cdissolution of Parliament\u201d is needed and said \u201cmassive uncontrolled migration\u201d was contributing to the \u201cdestruction of Britain\u201d in comments via video link.<\/p>\n

He also told the crowd that \u201cviolence is coming\u201d and that \u201cyou either fight back or you die\u201d.<\/p>\n

Lib Dem leader Sir Ed Davey<\/a> criticised the appearance, saying the UK\u2019s democracy is \u201ctoo precious to be a plaything for foreign tech barons\u201d.<\/p>\n

The Tesla boss has waded into British politics before, notably when he started a war of words with the UK government over the grooming gangs scandal. He has also criticised the UK\u2019s Online Safety Act, calling the legislation a threat to free speech.<\/p>\n

He had a warm relationship with Nigel Farage, and there were even rumours he could channel a donation to his party before Mr Musk called for the Reform UK leader to be replaced during a dispute over his support for Robinson, real name Stephen Yaxley-Lennon.<\/p>\n

The tech billionaire appeared at the rally on Saturday after Ben Habib<\/a>, the former deputy of Reform UK who now leads Advance UK, a political party Robinson has joined.<\/p>\n

In conversation with Robinson, Mr Musk said: \u201cI think there\u2019s something beautiful about being British and what I see happening here is a destruction of Britain, initially a slow erosion but rapidly increasing erosion of Britain with massive uncontrolled migration.<\/p>\n

\u201cA failure by the government to protect innocent people including children who are getting gang-raped. It\u2019s unreal the Government has failed in its duty to protect its citizens which is a fundamental duty of government.\u201d<\/p>\n

He called for a change of government in Britain.<\/p>\n

He said: \u201cYou can\u2019t \u2013 we don\u2019t have another four years, or whenever the next election is, it\u2019s too long.<\/p>\n

\u201cSomething\u2019s got to be done. There\u2019s got to be a dissolution of Parliament and a new vote held.\u201d<\/p>\n

Nine people were arrested by police after officers were punched and kicked<\/p>\n

Mr Musk was interviewed by Robinson and appeared on a screen on stage so protesters could watch.<\/p>\n

Around 110,000 people were estimated by police to have gathered in Whitehall, London, for the \u201cUnite the Kingdom\u201d event, which faced counter-protests by around 5,000 anti-racism campaigners.<\/p>\n

At the end of the interview, Robinson said: \u201cNot only are we in the fight right now, but we\u2019re on the advance thanks to free speech being fought for, for us, by Elon Musk.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mr Musk said that the British public are \u201cscared to exercise their free speech\u201d.<\/p>\n

He said he wanted to appeal to \u201cBritish common sense\u201d and \u201cthe reasonable centre, the people who ordinarily wouldn\u2019t get involved in politics\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy message is to them: if this continues, that violence is going to come to you, you will have no choice,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou\u2019re in a fundamental situation here. Whether you choose violence or not, violence is coming to you.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou either fight back or you die, that\u2019s the truth, I think.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lib Dem leader Sir Ed posted on X: \u201cOur democracy is too precious to be a plaything for foreign tech barons.<\/p>\n

\u201cElon Musk doesn\u2019t care about the British people or our rights.
