Elon Musk\u2019s estranged daughter, Vivian Wilson, strut her stuff on the runway for her first-ever New York Fashion Week show Friday night.<\/p>\n
The transgender model made her debut in Alexis Bittar\u2019s \u201cMISS USA 1991\u201d presentation. <\/p>\n
\u201cI purposely cast, each contestant to represent a U.S. state where trans rights are under assault,\u201d the designer said in a statement obtained by Page Six.<\/p>\n
Wilson \u2014 who is trans \u2014 represented the state of South Carolina for the runway show.<\/p>\n
She sashayed down the catwalk in a shimmering, short-sleeved red gown from the brand\u2019s Spring\/Summer 2026 collection. Her look was accessorized with a pair of gold earrings and a small clutch.<\/p>\n

Bittar added in her statement that she \u201cplayed with juxtapositions\u201d for her designs, noting \u201cfluidity against structure, texture against control, boldness against fragility.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cThe hand sculpted Lucite palette is muted sherbet shades of mauve and teal, so specific to the early \u201990s, set against graphic, gold-textured shapes that fracture the softness,\u201d she continued.<\/p>\n
While this was Wilson\u2019s first time walking for NYFW, she has modeled down a runway before.<\/p>\n
The women cast in the show each represented a state \u201cwhere trans rights are currently under assault,\u201d per Bittar. Marco Ovando<\/p>\n
Wilson previously walked the runway at a \u201cRuPaul\u2019s Drag Race All Stars\u201d Season 10 premiere event in May. Page Six<\/p>\n

(A deadname is the birth name of a trans person who has changed their name as part of their gender transition).<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Wilson has long been estranged from her father. Instagram\/vivllainous<\/p>\n Musk has voiced his opposition to his daughter\u2019s transition and has claimed he was \u201ctricked\u201d into signing off on her gender-affirming care as a minor.
