Called \u2018Up All Night: A Bristol Nightlife Story\u2019, it is described as a love letter to Bristol\u2019s after-dark music and cultural scenes, venues, people and artists.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">The photobook has been put together by two of the city\u2019s well-known creative people &#8211; with words from journalist and musician Jasmine Ketibuah-Foley and photos from award-winning photographer Colin Moody &#8211; the man behind initiatives like the <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bristolpost.co.uk\/news\/bristol-news\/proper-bristol-postcards-big-jeff-2906418\" target=\"_self\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">\u2018Proper Bristol\u2019 postcard competition<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">The idea to document and celebrate Bristol\u2019s nightlife began when it didn\u2019t exist &#8211; when the Covid pandemic saw everything shut, and everyone staying at home. It was only then that people realised what Bristol had, so when it began to return, Colin and Jasmine said they began to work to record its story.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">\u201cA huge part of life had been put on pause,\u201d said co-author Jasmine. \u201cBut what emerged was a deeper appreciation of what nightlife gives us &#8211; joy, resilience and community. We wanted to preserve that,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/0_TCB120925UpAllNightBRI_03.jpg\" alt=\"Up All Night, a Bristol Nightlife story has been put together by Colin Moody and Jasmine Ketibuah-Foley as a celebration of Bristol's unique nightlife scene\" loading=\"lazy\"  \/>Up All Night, a Bristol Nightlife story has been put together by Colin Moody and Jasmine Ketibuah-Foley as a celebration of Bristol&#8217;s unique nightlife scene(Image: The History Press\/Plaster PR)<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">Bristol\u2019s nightlife scene is renowned across the world, and is incredibly diverse, with nightclubs and bars catering for the city\u2019s reputation as a stag and hen capital, to the iconic nightclubs like <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bristolpost.co.uk\/whats-on\/music-nightlife\/bristol-nightclub-ban-phones-dance-10433842\" target=\"_self\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">Lakota <\/a>and the <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bristolpost.co.uk\/whats-on\/music-nightlife\/boss-bristol-motion-confirms-exciting-10351134\" target=\"_self\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">recently-closed Motion.<\/a> Then there\u2019s also the underground and grassroots venues and parties that spawned the Bristol sound, drum n bass and jungle, as well as Carnival, <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bristolpost.co.uk\/all-about\/lgbtqia\" target=\"_self\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">queer spaces <\/a>and youth centres.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">The book features drag artist Roux, DJ El-Ze and Annie McGann from the Save Bristol Nightlife campaign, who each talk about the power, but also the vulnerability, of nightlife spaces.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">\u201cYoung people aren\u2019t just looking for a night out,\u201d said DJ El-Ze. \u201cThey\u2019re looking for a space to belong.
