A climber has been airlifted to hospital after suffering a fall. Air ambulance and Coastguard helicopters were called to Llandudno<\/a> on Saturday, September 13.<\/p>\n

The Wales Air Ambulance landed on the promenade while a Coastguard helicopter was in the air above the coastal town. North Wales Live<\/a> reports that the Coastguard winched a climber off the Little Orme and it is understood they were taken to Ysbyty Gwynedd<\/a> in Bangor<\/a>. A spokesperson for the Coastguard said: “HM Coastguard responded to reports that a climber had fallen on Little Orme, Llandudno, today (13 September).<\/p>\n

“Alerted at around 3.30pm a coastguard search and rescue helicopter was sent to the scene. The male was rescued by the helicopter and taken to hospital for onward care.”<\/p>\n

An eyewitness from nearby also shared their account of the incident. Mike Parry said: “Good job by all the emergency agencies involved. Huge job to coordinate it all.”<\/p>\n
