There was a mass exodus of many Wolves favourites over the summer, but one player is still without a club despite being offered a large salary.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The likes of Matheus Cunha<\/a> and Rayan Ait Nouri<\/a> had no shortage of suitors due to both their quality and age.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile Nelson Semedo<\/a> left the club as a free agent in the summer with Pablo Sarabia<\/a> and Goncalo Guedes<\/a> also among those who exited.<\/p>\n

However, Craig Dawson<\/a> was another man on the departures list, and the defender has also had a lot of interest in him.<\/p>\n

And now it seems the former Wolves man will still be without a club after rejecting an offer from a Championship club.<\/p>\n

Craig Dawson\u2019s time at Wolves did not seem to end well. He was banished from training by Vitor Pereira<\/a> and became an outcast for much of last season.<\/p>\n

Dawson was left out of Wolves\u2019 updated Premier League squad<\/a>, as Pereira did not think his profile suited his style of play.<\/p>\n

Ultimately, the club let his contract run out at the end of the season and Dawson has been free to sign for another side as a free agent ever since.<\/p>\n

According to journalist Alan Nixon<\/a>, Craig Dawson has rejected an offer from Birmingham worth \u00a31 million a year.<\/p>\n

The rejection is said to have come as a surprise for the Blues. <\/p>\n

The former Wolves man has also received offers from Blackburn<\/a>, and Wrexham were also interested in signing him<\/a> earlier in the summer.<\/p>\n

The 35-year-old is not getting any younger, and any move could be his final club in football. Dawson is said to \u2018want the next and final move to tick all the boxes.\u2019<\/p>\n

While Craig Dawson\u2019s profile would not fit Wolves\u2019 squad, having someone with his experience could be of use.<\/p>\n

The Old Gold are set to be involved in a relegation battle as it stands after losing four games from four to start the Premier League season.<\/p>\n

Even if Dawson would not have played, his presence among the squad could have given them that needed experience to turn things around.<\/p>\n

In the end, it probably was the best move for all parties for the Englishman to leave. He was never going to play, and he\u2019ll want to play as much football before he ends his career.<\/p>\n
