The\u00a0Handicap Equalize<\/strong>\u00a0(1400mT) will provide the feature on Sunday\u2019s 15-race card at San Isidro, which also includes several strong allowance events.<\/p>\n

At the head of affairs is\u00a0Unico Happy<\/strong>\u00a0(Hi Happy<\/strong>), who will carry top weight of 60 kilos. His r\u00e9sum\u00e9 includes the 2023\u00a0Gran Premio Gran Criterium<\/strong>\u00a0(G1) and, most recently, the\u00a0Cl\u00e1sico Joaqu\u00edn V. Gonz\u00e1lez<\/strong>\u00a0(G2) at La Plata.<\/p>\n

After a disappointing trip to Uruguay for the\u00a0Gran Premio Pedro Pi\u00f1eyr\u00faa<\/strong>\u00a0(G3) at Maro\u00f1as, the\u00a0Stud Haras El Angel de Venecia<\/strong>\u00a0runner resurfaced in the\u00a0Handicap Potrillazo<\/strong>\u00a0at Palermo, finishing only seventh. He now returns to the scene of his greatest triumph, hoping to rebound.<\/p>\n

Chief among his rivals is\u00a0Midnight Runner<\/strong>\u00a0(Forge<\/strong>, 55), who comes back from a three-month layoff after fading in the\u00a0Cl\u00e1sico Pippermint<\/strong>\u00a0(G2). Runner-up by only half a neck to\u00a0El Gazpacho<\/strong>\u00a0(Bodemeister<\/strong>, 56.5) in the\u00a0Cl\u00e1sico Mesa del Senado<\/strong>\u00a0(L) under similar conditions, he will prove tough to reel in if allowed to dictate early.<\/p>\n

That same\u00a0El Gazpacho<\/strong>\u00a0is also among the key players, as is\u00a0Quebracho Joy<\/strong>\u00a0(Fortify<\/strong>, 58.5), winner of the\u00a0Cl\u00e1sico Jap\u00f3n<\/strong>\u00a0(L) and most recently third to\u00a0Ronda de Ases<\/strong>\u00a0(Forge<\/strong>) in the\u00a0Cl\u00e1sico New Dandy<\/strong>, run on turf and dirt at Palermo.<\/p>\n
