April Windsor (Amelia Flanagan) is on a slippery slope in Emmerdale, having got herself fast in the clutches of drug lord Ray Walters (Joe Absolom).<\/p>\n
She\u2019d originally tried to get Dylan Penders (Fred Kettle) away from working for the likes of Ray, who\u2019s been manipulating Dylan into remaining on the wrong side of the law for him, but when it became clear they couldn\u2019t afford a flat without the drugs money, April encouraged him to go back.<\/p>\n
When Ray pressured Dylan into doing a job that was too high risk for him, April stepped up and offered to give it ago. <\/p>\n
But the trusting teen had no idea that Ray had arranged for her to get robbed at knife point,<\/a> meaning she now owes him \u00a32,000, and just like that, she now has no escape.<\/p>\n Now that April is on Ray\u2019s payroll,<\/a> he\u2019s got many more jobs lined up for her. The latest sees her heading to a car park to do the latest drop.<\/p>\n This time things seem much smoother; she meets the lad she\u2019s meant to meet and is ready to do her bit and run. <\/p>\n It\u2019s a relief after her first two drops ended up in her seemingly losing the drugs (AKA Ray set her up, but she has no idea). But before she can celebrate her win, she\u2019s caught by Swirling (Andy Moore).<\/p>\n \t\t \t\t April uses her good girl image to try and cover what she was really doing, but PC Swirling insists on taking her back to the village. She\u2019s dropped off in the police car to a baffled and worried Rhona (Zoe Henry).<\/p>\n April has bigger problems than her conscience lying to Rhona \u2013 Ray tells Dylan he has doubts April can keep quiet, which is a terrifying place for her to be, even if she doesn\u2019t know it yet.<\/p>\n When Dylan later sees April, he digs into <\/a>what went wrong, then relays Ray\u2019s concerns. Instead of fear, April is left feeling angry that she\u2019s even having to work for Ray. <\/p>\n Added to the fact she hasn\u2019t actually been able to do one successful drop yet, she is not a happy bunny.
