bagged six goals in his debut season at Bramall Lane.

That was perhaps a little disappointing, but Moore still played his part in reaching the play-off final.

Selles came in and decided to sell Moore, paving the way for a <a at Wrexham.

Moore’s goal against Queens Park Rangers on Saturday means he has now scored four goals in just five Championship games – just two goals short of his entire league tally at Sheffield United.

Selles may have felt that Moore was not the right fit for his style of play, but Wrexham are benefiting massively from the striker’s Sheffield United exit.

Chris Wilder will be left ruing Kieffer Moore’s move to Wrexham

Put simply, Wrexham’s chances of signing Moore may have been much slimmer had Wilder that Moore is a ‘nice guy’ who is ‘doing a lot of things right’ at Championship level, having enjoyed success at the top end of the pitch.

“Good signing for going to cause problems for the Championship because it’s not something the Championship will be used to on a regular basis. I don’t see them struggling; I think they’ll be really competitive.

“He’s [Moore] a nice guy. Bournemouth, he got promoted; Ipswich, he got promoted, came very close with Sheffield United, that’s not a given. He’s doing a lot of things right,” he added.

Wilder now returns to Bramall Lane with Moore gone, all while he inherits a Blades side struggling for goals.

Moore can’t stop scoring right now, and Wrexham fans will certainly say a big thank you to Selles as he leaves his job in the Sheffield United dugout.

[8817
748,393,4884,45066,12994,1620,16,15
0":"post-425210","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-sheffield","8":"tag-britain","9":"tag-england","10":"tag-great-britain","11":"tag-kieffer-moore","12":"tag-phil-parkinson","13":"tag-sheffield","14":"tag-uk","15":"tag-united-kingdom
["GET
