Coronation Street star Sam Aston, who plays Chesney Brown on the ITV soap, is set to take to the stage for An Audience with Coronation Street in London this weekend.<\/p>\n

Sam Aston, known for his role as Chesney Brown on Coronation Street<\/a> since 2003, has expressed his thrill about participating in An Audience with Coronation Street<\/a>, a UK tour that offers fans an intimate experience with some of the soap’s icons.<\/p>\n

The London leg of the tour kicks off on Sunday (September 14), and the 32-year-old actor shared his anticipation for the event in a clip exclusively released by ITV<\/a> studios.<\/p>\n

He exclaimed: “This is my West End debut! I’m absolutely buzzing to be fair. There’s a good buzz around the building and I think, yeah, we’re all excited!”<\/p>\n

Sam also hinted at the fun he expects to have on stage with his co-stars, after one Coronation Street star addresses their future on the soap.<\/a><\/p>\n

In another clip, he added: “We’ll have to see how it goes! I don’t think I’ll be too good at the quiz. But hopefully, there will be some good stories, some good laughs, and everybody enjoys themselves.”<\/p>\n

On Sunday, Sam will join his Coronation Street colleagues Jane Danson<\/a>, who plays Leanne Battersby, and Patti Clare, who portrays Mary Taylor on the show, reports the Daily Star<\/a>.<\/p>\n

An Audience with Coronation Street is touring the UK this September, hosted by This Morning’s resident soap expert, Sharon Marshall.<\/p>\n

Each event promises attendees the chance to see five stars live on stage, along with the surprise appearance of a cobble legend.<\/p>\n

The event’s description reads: “In the first half, you’ll enjoy an intimate and lively chat with the cast as they share backstage gossip, funniest on-set moments, and personal stories about life in Weatherfield.<\/p>\n

“Ever wondered what really goes on between takes? Or which co-stars are best mates off-screen? This is your chance to find out!”<\/p>\n

Among the cast members fans can anticipate seeing on the tour are Andrew Whyment, Jack P Shepherd, Jimmi Harkishin and Jodie Prenger.<\/p>\n

Rob Mallard<\/a>, Samia Longchambon and Simon Gregson have also been confirmed for the tour.<\/p>\n

Regrettably, actress Vicky Myers, who plays Lisa Swain, will no longer be able to attend due to scheduling conflicts.<\/p>\n

In a message, she expressed: “I’m so, so, sorry to miss the Glasgow show for An Audience with Coronation Street on 24th September. Due to unavoidable last-minute schedule changes, I won’t be able to be there.<\/p>\n

“Every possible scheduling option was explored, however it was just not possible I’m afraid. This was completely out of my control.<\/p>\n

“In my place I am delighted that the legend and utterly gorgeous ‘Sunshine Sue Devaney’ will be joining the line-up instead – she is going to be amazing – she IS amazing!”<\/p>\n
