Leeds United fans are disgruntled with the club\u2019s work in the transfer window. While Robbie Evans says PSR was maxed out, Daniel Farke and fans think more was needed in the final third.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Speaking after the 0-0 draw against Newcastle, Farke said Leeds needed more in attack<\/a> or relegation is a much more realistic proposition. Leeds failed to get either Facundo Buonanotte or Fulham\u2019s Harry Wilson.<\/p>\n

Wilson played against Leeds<\/a> on Saturday, as Farke\u2019s<\/a> men suffered a heartbreaking 1-0 defeat to Fulham with Gabriel Gudmundsson\u2019s freak own goal proving to be decisive. His own goal came in injury time.<\/p>\n

Just one goal scored in four Premier League<\/a> games now, even if Farke handed Noah Okafor and Dominic Calvert-Lewin<\/a> their first league starts for Leeds on Saturday. Ross McCormack<\/a> has picked the best signing.<\/p>\n

Lucas Perri has kept two clean sheets in three league games before his injury, Gudmundsson has been consistent at left-back and according to FotMob<\/a>, Anton Stach has been Leeds\u2019 best player this season.<\/p>\n

But speaking ahead of Saturday\u2019s defeat, McCormack told Matchday Live on LUTV that Calvert-Lewin is a \u201cmassive signing\u201d and could prove to be the club\u2019s most important addition of the summer window.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe biggest signing Leeds have made could be Calvert-Lewin. At home, you\u2019re okay. You\u2019re always going to be competitive at Elland Road. When you go away, you\u2019re going to be under the cosh sometimes. <\/p>\n

\u201cIf you\u2019re a centre-half, you\u2019re not always going to be able to play out. So at times, you can go long and get the ball into big Dom\u2019s chest. Give your defenders a rest. I think he\u2019s a massive signing for the club.\u201d<\/p>\n

Dominic Calvert-Lewin\u2019s stats for Leeds United so far<\/p>\n

Saturday was his first start for Leeds, having missed the first two Premier League games of the season after going the entire summer without a pre-season. Calvert-Lewin is undergoing a mini pre-season.<\/p>\n

Substitute appearances against Sheffield Wednesday and Newcastle saw Calvert-Lewin miss chances as well as a penalty in the shootout at Hillsborough.
