\n\tPedro Pascal<\/a> is expressing his support for the transgender community and made a big statement at the Thunderbolts<\/a> premiere in London.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Last of Us actor made an appearance at the Cineworld Leicester Square in support of the Marvel film, sporting the viral \u201cProtect the Dolls\u201d t-shirt.<\/p>\n

\n\tPascal had previously worn the shirt during his 50th birthday celebration on April 6.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe \u201cProtect the Dolls\u201d t-shirt was designed by Conner Ives, who showed it at his runway show during London Fashion Week earlier this year. \u201cDolls\u201d is how the LGBTQIA+ community refers to trans women.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn an interview with The New York Times<\/a>, Ives explained what inspired them to make the t-shirt.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cIt was very reactive. I knew I wanted to say something, given what we\u2019ve observed in the last few months with the U.S. government and the current political regime,\u201d Ives said.<\/p>\n

\n\tProceeds from the sale of the t-shirt are donated to Trans Lifeline, an organization that supports transgender people.<\/p>\n

\n\tPascal wore the t-shirt after the UK Supreme Court ruled<\/a> that a woman is defined by biological sex, which excludes transgender women.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe actor who is joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Reed Richards in The Fantastic Four: First Steps, has been a vocal trans rights advocate. Pascal\u2019s sister, Lux Pascal, came out as a transgender woman in February 2021.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe trans community has been hit hard by the Donald Trump administration with policies that purposely exclude them. Trump recently signed an executive order titled \u201cPrioritizing Military Excellence and Readiness that restricts transgender military service. <\/p>\n
