A CCTV appeal has been issued by West Midlands Police after a woman was “hit in the face with a glass” at a Birmingham bar.<\/p>\n

The assault took place on August 2 at a bar in Brindley Place, which is home to a number of canal-side bars and restaurants.<\/p>\n

West Midlands Police<\/a> issued a plea for help in identifying three women following the assault.<\/p>\n

The appeal, which includes three clear images of three women, was issued on Monday September 15.<\/p>\n

The force said a number of people were present in the area at the time of the incident and have urged anyone with information to come forward.<\/p>\n

The victim sustained facial injuries, said police.<\/p>\n

A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: “Can you help us identify these three?<\/p>\n

“We want to speak with them following an altercation and assault at a bar in Brindley Place, Birmingham<\/a>, just before 9pm on 2 August.<\/p>\n

“A verbal altercation turned into an assault and a woman was hit in the face with a glass causing facial injuries.<\/p>\n

“We have carried out CCTV enquiries but have been unable to identify those responsible.<\/p>\n

“We do, however, know that people were present in the area and may have witnessed this incident.<\/p>\n
