he violence broke out<\/a> in a residential part of Dungannon on Sunday afternoon. <\/p>\nPolice responded to reports of a fight involving weapons in the Oaks Avenue area of the town at 2.25pm. <\/p>\n
Five arrests were made following what the PSNI has described as \u201csustained violence and disorder\u201d. <\/p>\n
Detective Inspector Ryan said: “Four people were taken to hospital for treatment, including one woman who was stabbed to the head with a screwdriver.<\/p>\n
\u201cThankfully, at this stage it doesn\u2019t appear that any of the injuries are life-threatening.<\/p>\n
“Officers remain at the scene this morning as our enquiries to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident are ongoing. Local residents will continue to see an increased police presence in the area over the coming days.\u201d<\/p>\n

A 35-year-old woman had been detained on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent while a woman aged 33 was arrested for grievous bodily harm.<\/p>\n
A 31-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and a number of driving offences.<\/p>\n
All three have now been released on bail to allow for further police enquiries.<\/p>\n
The PSNI said enquiries into the incident are continuing.<\/p>\n
