Prince Harry and Meghan have been accused of being \u201cbad for the Royal Family\u201d after the Duke of Sussex’s fleeting visit to the UK<\/a>. After weeks of speculation, King Charles met Harry at Clarence House<\/a> in London. However, he notably did not meet his brother, Prince William<\/a>, and sister-in-law Princess Kate, whom he has been accused of wanting to \u201ccompete\u201d with. Richard Eden, the Daily Mail Diary Editor, said: \u201cI can obviously understand the father wanting to meet the son, who wouldn\u2019t? The problem is, he\u2019s not just a father, he\u2019s our head of state. I think Harry and Meghan are bad for the Royal Family.\u201d<\/p>\n

Appearing on the Palace Confidential<\/a> programme, he added: \u201cI think Harry and Meghan are bad news. We\u2019ve seen time and time again that they can\u2019t be trusted, they exploit their royal connections, and I don\u2019t think it\u2019s being paranoid to say that they want to be the alternative Royal Family.\u201d Last week, after visiting his father, the Duke travelled to Kyiv as part of his work for his celebrated organisation, the Invictus Games. While in the UK, Prince Harry<\/a> also attended a few high-profile events, including the WellChild Awards, which he has been championed over the years. \u201cThis week was full of engagements for William and Catherine and Harry has been competing with that,\u201d Mr Eden went on to claim.<\/p>\n
