Apex Housing Association has secured a \u00a335m revolving credit facility from Danske Bank to help build modern, energy-efficient homes across Northern Ireland.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The funding, arranged with support from Sensus Financial Advisory Ltd, will back Apex\u2019s plans to build all new homes to at least Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) \u2018A\u2019 rating from 2024.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The association is also working to upgrade over 90% of its existing homes to at least EPC \u2018C\u2019.<\/p>\n
Roderick Canning (pictured, left), executive director of finance & resources at Apex, said: \u201cSecuring this facility from Danske Bank significantly strengthens our financing framework and will help us build more new homes across Northern Ireland.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Apex\u2019s \u2018More than Housing\u2019 plan for 2023-2026 sets out five priorities focused on building sustainable communities, delivering high-quality homes, supporting vulnerable tenants, running an efficient organisation, and developing skilled staff.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The strategy aims to tackle fuel poverty and increase tenant engagement.<\/p>\n
