According to sources, the Prince and Princess of Wales seemingly harbor \u201clingering resentments\u201d towards the 41-year-old. They have reportedly still not moved on from the harsh statements the Duke of Sussex made in his book, \u201cSpare.\u201d Hence, the reunion of the trio seemed unlikely during Harry\u2019s recent U.K. trip.<\/p>\n

Prince William and Kate Middleton \u2018need more time\u2019 to reunite with Prince Harry, source claims<\/p>\n

Prince William<\/a> and Kate Middleton were reportedly hurt after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle made their feud public post their royal exit. According to Us Weekly<\/a>, a source stated that there\u2019s still \u201congoing tension\u201d between the duke and his brother and sister-in-law.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey are deeply hurt by the public disclosures, memoir revelations and interviews and criticisms of their roles,\u201d the insider said. Reportedly, the future king and queen took those actions as \u201cbreaches of trust.\u201d Therefore, they would need a \u201csignificant time to heal\u201d and welcome Harry back into their lives.<\/p>\n

The news came after the Duke of Sussex met his father, King Charles<\/a>, during his recent U.K. trip. They seemingly had a \u201crelaxed\u201d meeting after two years. As per the source, the father-son duo\u2019s aides had direct communication, but this has not been the case with William. They added, \u201cWilliam and Kate haven\u2019t initiated or responded to outreach from Harry at all. They do need more time.\u201d<\/p>\n

An earlier report<\/a> stated that the royal couple was only eight miles away when Prince Harry visited the King George VI Memorial Chapel. Allegedly, the heir to the throne didn\u2019t put any effort into meeting his younger brother. Meanwhile, the king reportedly flew from Balmoral, Scotland, to meet his second son.<\/p>\n

Another source told the outlet that there has been an \u201cemotional distance\u201d between Harry, Prince William, and Kate Middleton.
