A body has been found by police searching for a man who was last seen 48 hours ago. Richard Thornton was last seen in the early hours of Saturday.<\/p>\n
Appeals had been made on social media by friends and his family appealing for help to locate him. Doorbell footage showed a taxi leaving an address just before 5am on Saturday from the Werneth Low area which had picked Mr Thornton up.<\/p>\n
Werneth Low – a country park on the Tamside and Stockport<\/a> border.
