Picture by Rohit Balaji <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The group\u2019s s longstanding franchise partner Carebrook Partnership Ltd originally announced plans to open 20 outlets across the island in 2023.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Tipperary native Gerard Loughran, who runs Carebrook with Dubliner Ray McNamara, first worked for Pret before becoming its first franchisee.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">They have already opened eight outlets in the Republic.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">\u201cThis new opening at Belfast International Airport is an exciting new milestone for us as we continue to grow the Pret brand in Northern Ireland,\u201d said Mr Loughran.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The opening at Belfast International Airport follows a period of phased refurbishment across the terminal, including a new security hall, duty free and arrivals hall.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" data-chromatic=\"ignore\" alt=\"Pret A Manger store in Grand Central Station in Belfast.
