On Monday, September 15 a a waste-management vehicle attempted to get through a bridge on <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.walesonline.co.uk\/all-about\/porthcawl\" target=\"\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">Porthcawl<\/a> Road, North Cornelly, but became stuck.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">The incident happened at 3.30pm on Monday, September 15. Also, the nearby Kenfig Viaduct section of the <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.walesonline.co.uk\/news\/wales-news\/live-updates-m4-shut-both-32479998\" target=\"_self\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">M4 was closed in both directions<\/a> for around five hours on Monday due to strong winds in the area, causing severe traffic delays along the motorway.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\"><a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.walesonline.co.uk\/news\/wales-news\/live-updates-m4-shut-both-32479998\" target=\"_self\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">It was a day of incidents on the road with severe delays<\/a> after a warning for winds, the Severn Bridge was also closed due to the severe <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.walesonline.co.uk\/all-about\/wales-weather\" target=\"\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">weather<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">Porthcawl Road was partially closed in the direction of Porthcawl coming out of North Cornelly due to the lorry being stuck under the bridge for some time.
