Our government are a disgrace dishing out that amount of money while we have our own people including veterans and homeless without 2 pennies to rub together. I am ashamed of my government,\u201d the post read.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" data-chromatic=\"ignore\" alt=\"One of the planned protests is to take place on the Newtownards Road in east Belfast.\" class=\"c-image\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/YFRYDVZDGFBVBPTHDKKKCOLK74.jpg\"  width=\"800\" height=\"731\"\/>One of the planned protests is to take place on the Newtownards Road in east Belfast. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The page also called on supporters to keep any protests peaceful.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">\u201cThis is only the beginning of things to come\u2014we will never give up fighting for the future of our children and grandchildren,&#8221; the group wrote.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">\u201cLet\u2019s stay united, keep it peaceful, and do not let the usual suspects\u2014statutory agencies\u2014agitate or divide us. No surrender!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Anti-immigration protests have become increasingly common across Northern Ireland in recent years.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">While some have been well-attended, many others have only attracted small numbers.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Commenting ahead of Thursday\u2019s planned protests, a PSNI spokesperson said: \u201cPolice are aware of planned protests taking place across multiple locations this Thursday, September 18 from 7pm. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">\u201cWe are monitoring the situation and are planning for a proportionate policing response.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"A series of anti-immigration protests have been planned for this Thursday.
