Retrofit at Brunstane school<\/p>\n
Contractor GRAHAM says it has completed the first stage of a \u00a310 million retrofit of Brunstane Primary School in Edinburgh for The City of Edinburgh Council, marking a major step in transforming the building into one of the city\u2019s \u201cmost sustainable education facilities\u201d.<\/p>\n
The company is delivering the multi-phase project while the school remains open. The works, which began in October 2024, will enable the building to be carbon neutral in operation, aligning with the Council\u2019s ambition to reach net zero by 2030.<\/p>\n

Stone Bone and Linen at Dundas Street Gallery <\/p>\n
Three artists from Dumfries are bringing their work to the Dundas Gallery from 17 September in a new exhibition called Stone, Bone and Linen.<\/p>\n
The unusual title reflects their separate fields of expertise \u2013 and the exhibition is an expression of their friendship as well as their art.<\/p>\n
Minette Bell Macdonald, Mishi Bellamy and Silvy Weatherall are all individual artists who are combining their art in a city exhibition. They plan to be at the gallery every day to show and discuss their work.<\/p>\n
