Whatever kind of food you fancy, London has it<\/a>. Whether that be budget snacks<\/a>, a warming Sunday roast<\/a>, a classy afternoon tea<\/a>, or the best burger you\u2019ve ever had in your life<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Each year, a group of experts from World\u2019s 101 Best Steak Restaurants come together to recognise the planet\u2019s top burgers. The 2025 edition of the ranking was just released, and a whopping\u00a0six out of 25 were\u00a0found here in London in the capital. This city sure is spoiled for patties and buns.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The city\u2019s highest entry was in second place. That\u2019s right, the second-best burger on the entire planet is to be found in London.\u00a0The Bleecker Burger<\/strong>, from the London restaurant chain of the same name, was lauded for being \u2018laser-focused on the essentials\u2019. The judges even said that \u2018it is probably the best burger patty we have tried in the last 12 months\u2019, and they eat a lot of burgers.<\/p>\n

This isn\u2019t the first time Bleecker has been hailed as London\u2019s greatest. It also took home the top prize at last year\u2019s National Burger Awards<\/a>, and it\u2019s currently fourth in Time Out\u2019s list<\/a>. What makes it so special? According to the Best Steak Restaurants team, a \u2018no-frills, medium-rare grilled dry-aged patty on a simple sesame bun allows the premium beef flavour to shine\u2019, and \u2018ambassadors consistently praise its juiciness and the outstanding quality of the meat\u2019. Plus, it costs less than a tenner.<\/p>\n

There are currently eight Bleeckers in London \u2013 we recommend the Spitalfields<\/a> or Seven Dials branches.<\/p>\n

The best burgers in London<\/p>\n

The Bleecker isn\u2019t the only place in the Big Smoke that\u2019s doing things right. In third place overall, making it the second best in the UK, was the Black Bear Burger\u2019s classic.<\/strong> Not dissimilar to Bleecker, \u2018patties are cooked medium rare and always served with a focus on quality rather than unnecessary excess\u2019. Black Bear won the 2025 National Burger Award<\/a>, but for\u00a0its Miso Bacon creation, rather than the signature. It seems the whole menu is worth a taste.<\/p>\n

Hawksmoor\u2019s \u2018Big Matt\u2019<\/strong> came in eight overall. Described by judges as \u2018truly iconic\u2019, this tribute to the world\u2019s most famous burger is \u2018a decadent, flavourful reinterpretation\u2019.<\/p>\n
