{"id":431480,"date":"2025-09-17T15:44:14","date_gmt":"2025-09-17T15:44:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/431480\/"},"modified":"2025-09-17T15:44:14","modified_gmt":"2025-09-17T15:44:14","slug":"girl-9-traumatised-after-racist-airgun-attack-in-bristol","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/431480\/","title":{"rendered":"Girl, 9, &#8216;traumatised&#8217; after racist airgun attack in Bristol"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\"><b class=\"ssrcss-1xjjfut-BoldText e5tfeyi3\">A girl has been left &#8220;frightened to leave the house&#8221; after she was shot with an airgun in a racially aggravated assault, police say.<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">Avon and Somerset Police said the girl was hit three times by an air gun pellet in an incident in Brentry, Bristol, on 2 September, during which a racial comment was used.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">Police said the pellets did not cause any serious physical injury, but she was left &#8220;traumatised&#8221; by the attack.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">Officers are now appealing for any witnesses of the assault, which happened at around 13:30 BST in Chakeshill Drive, to come forward.
