The BCC\u2019s latest <a href=\"https:\/\/response.gv-c.com\/Mail\/Click\/224?a=E0A7A53C0659926A65ED3BC01FACE2B4&amp;r=D01350FB23E29C65707B1E22539697CF&amp;v=\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">economic forecast<\/a> expects inflation to remain at around this level until the end of the year.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 12.75pt; margin: 0cm 0cm 1.5pt 0cm;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 12.75pt; margin: 0cm 0cm 1.5pt 0cm;\">\u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/response.gv-c.com\/Mail\/Click\/224?a=E9496E48E590E86BBE4B1E95C9344750&amp;r=D01350FB23E29C65707B1E22539697CF&amp;v=\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Firms are clear<\/a> that April\u2019s rise in national insurance, continued strong wage growth and higher tariffs are all eroding their operating margins. There is also growing concern that sticky inflation will limit the scope for further interest rate cuts.\u202f\u202f\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 12.75pt; margin: 0cm 0cm 1.5pt 0cm;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 12.75pt; margin: 0cm 0cm 1.5pt 0cm;\">\u201cAhead of the Autumn Budget, our message to the Chancellor is clear \u2013 there must be no new tax rises on business.
