Behind the venue is 30-year-old Adam Noble, from <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/all-about\/fazakerley\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"FazakerleyLink opens in a new tab.\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">Fazakerley<\/a>, who already runs the popular Noble\u2019s Kitchen food truck, touring the country to cater to festivals and other events.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">Adam had <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/whats-on\/food-drink-news\/food-truck-favourite-brings-taste-32278085\" target=\"_self\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">long wanted to open<\/a> his own restaurant but was waiting until the right site appeared. He found it when the premises of Il Capitano\u2019s &#8211; a successful local Italian restaurant &#8211; came up for sale on St John&#8217;s Road. The owners of the pizzeria are <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/whats-on\/food-drink-news\/restaurant-takes-big-gamble-prepares-32019031\" target=\"_self\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">relocating around the corner to a bigger space<\/a> due to demand.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">Officially opening last Saturday, September 13, Adam said the restaurant was immediately full. He told <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\" target=\"_self\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">the ECHO<\/a>: \u201cThe atmosphere was great and the customers were loving it.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">Medusa&#8217;s menu features classic Greek dishes such as moussaka, served as small plates, with larger grill dishes also available. Adam says the concept has gone down a treat with customers.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">He continued: &#8220;They loved the food, they loved the tapas-style sharing with the small plates, and they liked that they had the option to get something bigger too.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/1758135317_544_0_Adam-Noble-at-his-restaurant-Medusa-on-St-Johns-Road-Waterloo-Photo-by-Colin-Lane.jpg\" alt=\"Inside Medusa\" loading=\"lazy\"  \/>Inside Medusa(Image: Colin Lane\/Liverpool Echo)<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">&#8220;They loved the drinks as well; they said the drinks selection is really good and the wines were really nice.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">Adam says he was especially pleased at the positive feedback on the wines as he&#8217;d &#8220;put a lot of time&#8221; into procuring them.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">He spoke very highly of the restaurant&#8217;s location, <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/news\/property\/visited-street-thats-coming-alive-26242636\" target=\"_self\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">St John&#8217;s Road<\/a>, which has been quietly transforming in recent years: \u201cThe area\u2019s amazing. Everyone\u2019s been so inviting and so accepting. Loads of people are saying it\u2019s getting a bit Lark Lane-ey and they&#8217;re keen to <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/whats-on\/food-drink-news\/vibrant-town-sea-thats-often-29523925\" target=\"_self\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">see the area develop<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">&#8220;I\u2019m, above all, excited to see what we can bring to the place.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">Medusa is open from Wednesday to Sunday. From Wednesday until Friday (from 12-4pm), it also offers a lunchtime menu, serving up Greek street food.
